U-Shift 33

Goals

The main goal of the U-Shift 33 project is to create the system requirements for MAD (Managed Automated Driving). U-Shift is to be operated with this new type of automation in the future.

Goals in detail:

Development of components and technologies for U-Shift and MAD together with industrial partners

  • Driveboard, test vehicle for MAD, sample stand ("B1")
  • Sensor integration in lighting modules
  • RCUs (Road Capturing Units) for test fields
  • Edge and backend including software
  • Demonstration of a remote operation operation (still without MAD)
  • Detailing the MAD architecture
