The German Aerospace Center (DLR) is the Federal Republic of Germany's research centre for aeronautics and astronautics. Its extensive research and development work in the fields of aeronautics, astronautics, energy, transport, safety and digitisation is integrated into national and international collaborations. In addition to its own research, DLR is the space agency responsible for the planning and implementation of German space activities on behalf of the German government.
