Deutsche Messe in Hanover has been a major organiser in the global trade-fair sector since 1947. We are a modern company with a long tradition and are known for major brands from the capital goods industry. However, large guest events also attract their international customers to our exhibition grounds in Lower Saxony.
Furthermore, we focus on diversity and organise highly specialised trade fairs as well as smaller sector events in addition to the international trade-fair heavyweights - both in Germany and abroad. Moreover, the exhibition grounds are home to regional trade fairs for the end consumer. In addition to the development of new trade-fair brands, we rent out our grounds for concerts, trade conferences, congresses of various types and diverse corporate events.
Corona has presented the trade-fair sector with a whole new set of challenges. Our answer to the pandemic: The future of trade fairs is hybrid, and we are actively involved in shaping this trend. With our new streaming and event locations, our customers can reach their customers at any time in either a purely digital or a hybrid way.
For the future, we will continue to focus on our core business, on the development of hybrid formats, on new business and on the technology innovations offered by our 5G exhibition grounds: From the second half of 2021 , we will be offering a highly innovative 5G multi-function campus on the 1.5-million square-metre site, where sophisticated new technological applications and services can be researched, developed and tested in protected environments.
